代理母出産 Surrogacy

Surrogacy is an arrangement, often supported by a legal agreement, whereby a woman agrees to pregnancy and childbirth on behalf of another person or couple who will become the child’s legal parents after birth. 代理母出産（だいりははしゅっさん、だいりぼしゅっさん、英：surrogate）とは、主に子宮や卵巣を先天的もしくは後天的に疾患のために失くした女性が代理母女性（surrogate mother）に妊娠・出産してもらう生殖医療である。代理出産（だいりしゅっさん）ともいう。出産時だけでなく、懐胎（妊娠）時も含めて表現したい場合は、代理懐胎（だいりかいたい）と表すこともある。
