これらの歴史教科書は、すべて互いに意見を異にしている。

日本をダメにしているオッサン達、一日も早く、ハーベックのような態度、性格になってほしいです。

エルサレム-ラマラ、車で30分程度です。とはいえ、イスラエルとパレスチナ自治区は隔世の感がある。
それは、安全や正常を求める気持ちと同じように、何も変わらないことへの苛立ちや失望も同じように深い。双方の痛みも理解できる。そして、根本的な政治的解決が必要であることは明らかです。しかし、それはまだ遠い未来の話です。
しかし、もしかしたら、具体的なプロジェクトで一緒に仕事をすることは可能かもしれません。この道の一例として、ここでもよく話題になるのが、NGO「#エコピース」による「中東のためのグリーン・ブルー・ディール」です。エコピースはすでに特別な存在です。ヨルダン+パレスチナ+イスラエル 🇵🇸+🇯🇴+🇮🇱 が共に活動する唯一の環境団体です。ヨルダンに太陽光発電所を建設し、その電力でイスラエルの海水淡水化を行い、地域に配給するというプロジェクトです。それは、パレスチナ人あるいはガザ地区を、この地域の水・エネルギー共同体に参加させるというものです。
これがうまくいけば、信頼関係を築くことができるかもしれません。そしてそれは、対立ではなく協調への衝動かもしれません。その実現に向けて、私も支援を約束しました。

Jerusalem – Ramallah, das sind nur 30 Minuten Fahrzeit. Trotzdem trennen Israel und die Palästinensischen Gebiete Welten.
Die Gräben sind so tief wie der Wunsch nach Sicherheit, nach Normalität, der hier überall spürbar ist – genauso wie Frust und Enttäuschung der Menschen darüber, dass sich scheinbar nie etwas ändern wird. Ich verstehe den Schmerz auf beiden Seiten. Und es ist klar, dass es eine grundlegende politische Lösung braucht. Doch die scheint weiterhin fern.
Aber vielleicht kann es gelingen, bei konkreten Projekten zusammenzuarbeiten. Ein Beispiel für diesen Weg, über das hier viel gesprochen wird, ist der ‚Green Blue Deal for the Middle East‘ der NGO #EcoPeace. Schon EcoPeace ist eine Besonderheit: die einzige Umweltorganisation, in der 🇵🇸+🇯🇴+🇮🇱 zusammenarbeiten. Ihr Projekt: Der Aufbau einer Solaranlage in Jordanien, mit deren Strom dann in Israel Wasser entsalzt und in der Region verteilt wird. Die Idee: In diese regionale Wasser-Energie-Gemeinschaft auch die Palästinenser bzw. den Gaza-Streifen einzubinden.
Sollte das funktionieren, könnte das Vertrauen aufbauen. Und ein Impuls für Kooperation statt Konfrontation sein. Ich habe meine Unterstützung zugesichert, zu helfen, dass das gelingt.

The rifts are as deep as the desire for security, for normality, which is palpable everywhere here – just as much as people’s frustration and disappointment that nothing ever seems to change. I understand the pain on both sides. And it is clear that a fundamental political solution is needed. But that still seems far away.
But perhaps we can succeed in working together on concrete projects. One example of this path, which is talked about a lot here, is the ‘Green Blue Deal for the Middle East’ by the NGO #EcoPeace. EcoPeace is already special: the only environmental organization in which 🇵🇸+🇯🇴+🇮🇱 work together. Their project: to build a solar plant in Jordan, the electricity from which will then be used to desalinate water in Israel and distribute it in the region. The idea: to include the Palestinians, or the Gaza Strip, in this regional water-energy community.
If that works, it could build trust. And be an impulse for cooperation instead of confrontation. I have pledged my support to help make that happen.
