文化庁 Agency for Cultural Affairs
文化庁は、日本の文部科学省の外局の一つで、文化の振興及び国際文化交流の振興を図るとともに、宗教に関する行政事務を適切に行うことを任務とする（文部科学省設置法第18条）。 The Agency for Cultural Affairs (文化庁 bunkachō) is a special body of the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT). It was set up in 1968 to promote Japanese arts and culture.
