2 days ago, on the 17th of January, MINATO Koichi 港浩一, president of Fuji Television Network Inc. フジテレビ apologised over allegations it was involved in a sexual misconduct scandal involving Japanese TV host NAKAI Masahiro 中居正広, best known as a member of the now-defunct pop group SMAP, and a woman.

“We apologize for not being able to provide explanations earlier,” Minato said at the press conference, the broadcaster’s first since media reports emerged last month that its employee had arranged the meal where Nakai met the woman.
According to the Shukan Bunshun weekly magazine 週刊文春, what was planned as a dinner in June 2023 with Fuji TV employees ended up with only Nakai and the woman present, leading to nonconsensual sexual activity and a 90 million Yen (9千万円 $579,000) out-of-court settlement.
Common sense, normal circumstances show, that the amount of money through the out-of-court settlement had been fixed at 100 million Yen 一億円. In this context Fuji TV obviously paid the 10 million Yen 一千万円 secretly.
Fuji TV, despite being itself part of the Japanese media, did NOT allow any live coverage (Rolling TV and video cameras were forbidden!) of the above mentioned press conference on 17th of January. Plus, CEO Minato did almost NOT answer the questions 社長の港浩一の記者会見は記者の質問にほとんど 答えませんでした.

This is typical Japan with its Right-wing Fujisankei Communications Group 右翼フジサンケイグループ. Put it casually:
“Perverted Society Japan: Right-wing Fuji Sankei Group Ruining the Japanese People”.

Many Japanese people, either gender, drink strong alcohol every day. However, they say they don’t regard themselves as alcoholic. But in reality they are hard drinkers, chronic alcoholics.
A lot of Japanese people say that they are not “hentai” weird/perverted 変態. But in reality they are hentai.
Most Japanese wives say it’s OK, when the husband goes to the prostitute.
Most Japanese wives say, sex in the brothel (エステ・風俗) or with hostesses (水商売) is not cheating/adultery (浮気).
Most Japanese wives do not regard themselves as hentai 変態.
But in reality they are a crucial part of this Perverted Society Japan 変態社会にっぽん.
