マドレーヌの生誕120周年を記念する日、8月23日です。今日は大安。
どうして死ななきゃいけなかったの？　
たった29歳という若さで？　
しかもここ東京で？

1. お二人が一緒にいた当時、フジタはまだユキと結婚していた（1954年に離婚）。
2. 既婚のフジタはあなたがいない間に浮気・不倫をして、料亭のお運びさんだった水戸出身の堀内君代という新しい恋人を作った。
3. あなたと君代の間で繰り広げられた激しく、極めて対立の激しい論争は、東京で広く知られていました。
4. 君代からフジタへ：「マドレーヌか、それとも私か！」フジタはそれが原因で、戸塚の家であなたを死なせたのです、いわゆる、殺されたんです。

マドレーヌ、我ここに立つ、我こうするより他なし、あなたの悲劇的な殺害を悼み、涙している。
藤田嗣治は悪党だった。極めて卑劣な日本人だ。エリート層の裕福な、明治天皇に仕え、父親に甘やかされて育ったおぼっちゃまで、利己的で不快な性格の持ち主だった。
彼はフランスでキリスト教徒としてカトリックの神に許しを請う一方で――ここには、あなたを一人きりにし、忘れ去られ、隠され、見捨てられたままにしておき、藤田家の墓に葬ることさえしなかったのだ。

涙を流すことに終わりはない。

Le 23 août marque le 120e anniversaire de la naissance de Madeleine. C’est aujourd’hui un jour propice. 
Pourquoi a-t-elle dû mourir ? 
À l’âge de 29 ans seulement ? 
Et qui plus est ici, à Tokyo ?

1. À l’époque où vous étiez ensemble, Foujita était encore marié à Youki (ils ont divorcé en 1954).
 2. Foujita, qui était marié, t’a trompée pendant ton absence et s’est trouvé une nouvelle maîtresse, Kimiyo Horiuchi, originaire de Mito, qui travaillait comme serveuse dans un restaurant traditionnel. 
3. Les disputes violentes et extrêmement acrimonieuses qui ont opposé Kimiyo et toi étaient de notoriété publique à Tokyo. 
4. Kimiyo à Foujita : « Madeleine ou moi ! » C’est pour cette raison que Foujita vous a fait mourir chez la maison à Totsuka ; en d’autres termes, vous avez été assassinée.

Madeleine, je me tiens ici, je n’ai d’autre choix que d’agir ainsi : je pleure et je pleure votre assassinat tragique. 
FOUJITA Tsuguharu était un scélérat. C’était un Japonais extrêmement ignoble. C’était un jeune homme choyé par son père, un homme riche issu de l’élite (au service de l’empereur Meiji), doté d’un caractère égoïste et déplaisant. 
Alors qu’il implorait le pardon du Dieu catholique en tant que chrétien en France — ici, il t’a laissée seule, oubliée, cachée, abandonnée, sans même t’enterrer dans le caveau de la famille Foujita.

Mes larmes ne tarissent pas.

Today, 23 August, marks the 120th anniversary of Madeleine’s birth. It is an auspicious day.
 Why did you have to die? 
At the tender age of just 29? 
And here in Tokyo, of all places?

1. At the time the two of you were together, Foujita was still married to Youki (they divorced in 1954). 
2. Whilst you were away, Foujita—who was married—cheated on you and took on a new lover, Kimiyo Horiuchi, a waitress at a traditional Japanese restaurant who was originally from Mito. 
3. The fierce and extremely acrimonious disputes that unfolded between you and Kimiyo were widely known in Tokyo.
 4. From Kimiyo to Foujita: ‘Madeleine, or me!’ It was because of this that Foujita caused your death at the Totsuka house—in other words, you were murdered.

Madeleine, I stand here; I have no choice but to do this: I weep in mourning for your tragic murder. 
FOUJITA Tsuguharu was a scoundrel. An utterly despicable Japanese man. A spoilt young master, pampered by his wealthy father from the elite class (who served the Emperor Meiji), he possessed a selfish and repugnant character.
 Whilst in France, as a Christian, he sought forgiveness from the Catholic God—yet here, he left you all alone, forgotten, hidden away and abandoned, and did not even have you buried in the Foujita family grave.

There is no end to my tears.

Without officially divorcing Youki, Foujita began 1931 his relationship with Madeleine, new muse and model for the following paintings, as seen above.

Madeleine Lequeux (Mady Dormans = Book “Les Confidences de Youki” 1957/1999), muse and partner of Foujita from 1931 until her obscure death (murder?) 1936 in Tokyo.
During Foujita – Madeleine’s partnership, 1935 Foujita started a sexual relationship with ‘waitress’ Kimiyo Horiuchi (新橋の料亭のお運びさんだった水戸出身の堀内君代）, who then became his publicly known (strolling arm in arm in Ginza) mistress 妾（お妾長屋）/ 二号さん（二号さん長屋）. The fight between Kimiyo and Madeleine ended in Madeleine’s obscure death (murder?) in June 1936.
