I am in no mood to celebrate today.
Japan’s Sanseito party is rejoicing over the AfD’s victory in the German state of Saxony-Anhalt on September 6, 2026.
This gives the party momentum, allowing it to garner more votes in upcoming elections by using fascist slogans swiped from the AfD.
Many Japanese people are fascists at heart. With the LDP, Isshin-to, Komei-to, and Sanseito, fascism is making its way into everyday life and becoming a standard topic of conversation. We have now entered the era of Japanese Neo-Fascism.
