Art worker Damien Hirst has been fabricating (by his assistants) so much art shit in recent years that it can make you sick every time you see it. A shame indeed, because the ordinary art lover is being fooled.
He now shows that he bought Jeff Koons’ work not as a passion for collecting, but as an object of speculation, the art flipper per se. After a short period of about 10 years he dumps “Balloon Monkey (Blue)” (2006-13) by American Jeff Koons, which will be sold at Christie’s London this fall.
